News A MARATHON OF POETRY Ian Whybrow is best known as a children’s author; his books have sold in millions. On 15th July 2020, Ian changed horses and began a poem-a-day sponsored marathon to raise money for Elizabeth’s Legacy of Hope, a small but important charity that supports – partly by providing legs to stand on – amputee children in countries without the blessing of a national health service. This is only a small selection from over 750 pieces which Ian produced in the first two years and continues into the third year – which are in preparation for publication. All profits will go to the charity, it is hoped that readers of these poems will donate to: www.elizabethslegacyofhope.org See two examples here on right.
